In 1996, Thomas Maple earned the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Auburn University for his advanced study in counseling psychology. Through administrative, professional, and faculty positions, Dr. Maple has served Auburn University, East Carolina University, Faulkner University, The Florida State University, and The University of Georgia. Through his private clinical practice, he has also served individuals, couples, and families. His volunteer work includes service in the leadership of the Alabama Psychological Association (APA) as Chair of APA's Ethics Committee and as Chair of APA's Academic and Scientific Affairs Committee. He has also served on the Obesity Task Force of the Alabama Department of Public Health. Dr. Maple's professional passion is for helping people and organizations grow into their potential. He is the founder and managing member of Maple Human Development, which provides an array of such products and services designed by Dr. Maple.
